A Midtown bar that's fun on the weekends? You'd better believe it. The NYC outpost of this saloon chain is like a giant fraternity party, with lots of sexy twenty-somethings, flowing beer and a hopping dance floor. There's nothing too special about McFadden's. It's basically a glammed-up Irish pub, but it sure draws the yuppie crowd. The bar is somewhat dead during the week unless there's a big game on TV, but if you're looking for a low-key date spot or quick dinner, it delivers. The big screen TVs are ideal for catching the Mets or Yankees, and comfy booths offer great spots for people-watching. So sit back with a cold one and let the fun begin.
