This bar is the "Cheers" of Washington, DC. In only a handful of visits, you will start to pick out the regulars, remember the names of the bartenders, and soon thereafter, have your drink of choice waiting for you when you get to your seat. Once you proceed through the small doors, down the stairs, and into this small basement establishment, you immediately notice the long, pronounced bar with extensive liquor selection. In addition, there are a few tables, a jukebox, and pictures on the walls of the numerous sports teams (mainly softball and rugby) that have made an appearance. But don't let the size fool you--sometimes, great bars come in small packages. It has friendly ambience and interesting weekend events, and even the normal prices aren't going to break the bank.
